Tomorrow’s Story is going to be sooooo mysterious. I say this because she is still a mystery to me, and I am so curious how she is going to spell her mystery around you, through your words.

How does The Grandmother speak through you? The Grandmother is an ancestor story to Little Red Riding Hood -from France -a darker, deeper, twistier, stranger version of the story we know.

To journey into the heart of living story is a spiraling path into the feminine mythos of mystery teachings. In every fairytale and myth are hidden codes, deeper teachings, secret revelations waiting to be known by you. How they move through you are different than how they move through me. There is not a clear map for way finding. You are the way finder. The body and its knowings. The ground and its roots. The mythic imagination and its doorway. The pen and its tool for illumination. The voice, and its threshold into being seen and heard.

Like the fairytales themselves, and their invitation to move through stages of initiation and transformation, the writing process moves us into the story, onto the path, into the heart of the grandmother mystery hut. Stories have guardians —wolves, or hunters, firebirds or golden apples, spindles or spinners. We must pay our tribute to the guardians of story who invite us closer -who demand that we take off our glasses, or our coats, our dresses and our garments in order to get more naked in our sight, so that we can see more clearly what they are trying to show us.

This story is a keeper of truths that want to be found. This story is a homeopathic pin prick, a droplet of blood, a cunning instinctive knowing of older, deeper wisdom ways.
