We are edging our way through winter. Circling towards the light. Emerging from the foresting Woods. We know a little more now than we knew before. And still, mornings are always wiser than evenings.
She came to me this morning. Vasalisa the Brave. Cosmic dress. Spring flowers rising from her ankles. Looking within, eyes closed, yet simultaneously looking out. The light shining off of the skull, thrust into her hands by the grandmother baba, ancient one of the forest.
She is in the in-between. Between winter and spring. She’s been in her own version of Persephone’s descent. On her way back to the civilized world. With light from an ancient before the world as we now know it, flame.
Yes, she needs this flame more than she knows. You do too.

It has been a holy time. Mythopoetic in every way. She is a reflection of us all.
Vasalisa has been braving the dark. She has needed more courage - more than ever before. In the liminal stretch of winter, she was handed a bright gleaming skull. Fire rays blazing, transforming the story of the past, but also, guiding her vision to the light of the future, radiating towards her.
Inside her story, is her unmistakeable destiny story. And she must walk forward, one step at a time, with courage to get it.
The little doll of intuition in her pocket led her all this way. She is halfway inside of the middle of the story. With all of us. Showing us what is possible if we too step forward towards our destiny call.
It’s been a lot since 1/1/25. Raise your hand if for you too.
Let’s circle in and story. I’m popping up here, spontaneously. This Thursday at 2/28/25

P.S.
Do not forget to feed the story. Before you come to the gathering. Simple ways to feed a story… A little love offering on the edge of the woods perhaps a nature made Mandala from found objects.
make a little altar for the story.
offer food to the story tiny little bits of butter or honey or wine. Maybe some poppy seeds. Or a little nibble of bread, the one that Vasalisa feeds to the little doll in her pocket.
why do we feed the story? Why do we feed ourselves? Story is a living creature. All living creatures need food. It helps them to grow and speak more clearly. To speak more directly. To speak the words that you most need to hear.
I'm interested in the sliding fee.
